The last day

On this day we will be able to ski on the Vorab glacier for the last time. Let's push him as far back as we can.
With the LAST DAY PASS Project.

724

Sold passes

So many passes have already been sold. Each pass compensates for 1000 kg of CO2 and slows down the melting process by 10 minutes.

05 Days 00 Hours 40 Minutes

We've already gained that much time.

724

Compensated tons of CO2

This is how many tons of CO2 we have been able to offset with every Last Day Pass you buy. Together we can do even more.

The Last Day Pass – the lift ticket for the day that will hopefully never come.

Let us protect the eternal ice as long as possible. The proceeds of every Last Day Pass sold will help us to postpone the day of the last downhill run on the Vorab Glacier.

How do I get a Last Day Pass?

You can buy the pass in the INSIDE LAAX app and via webshop.

What can I do with the Last Day Pass?

Each Last Day Pass is provided with a chip and can thus be used as keycard for any lift ticket.

If you buy day or multi-day tickets on the INSIDE LAAX app, you can save the Last Day Pass in the app using the WTP number provided and then select it as a keycard.

If you are in possession of a seasonpass or TOPCARD, you can have it loaded onto the Last Day Pass at the mountain railway info.

What is the WTP number?

The WTP number is the identification number for the data carrier in your Last Day Pass and is sent on an enclosed little card with your Last Day Pass. It allows you to recharge your pass with any lift ticket.

Where does the QR Code lead?

The QR code on your passport will lead you directly to the Last Day Pass website. Here you can get all the important information about the progress of the project.

What does the purchase of a Last Day Pass do?

With the purchase of a Last Day Pass a guaranteed amount of 1000 kg CO2 is compensated with the help of our partner. The resulting CO2 compensation slows down the melting process by 10 minutes. In addition, part of the proceeds will be used to support the regional tree planting project on the Crap Sogn Gion. This binds even more CO2 and promotes biodiversity.

The Vorab Glacier is melting

We need to stop this.

Above the Swiss village of Laax lies the Vorab Glacier. In the middle of one of the most popular snowboarding areas in Switzerland, the Snowboard Summer Camp took place until 20 years ago in mid-June. Nowadays, this is no longer possible due to the massive melting of the glacier. In the next 30-35 years we have to expect that the Vorab Glacier will have completely disappeared due to the effects of man-made global warming.

We believe that it is worth fighting for this very special place and at the same time send a signal to stop human-induced climate change.

How you can make a contribution to this? With the purchase of a Last Day Pass you support climate protection projects that work to slow down the melting of glaciers and help postpone the day of the last departure.
